Course Overview

WOW Action Forum is driving a 2021 Mission Target of 1000 crore [or 10 billion] litres in Bengaluru, as the first of such City Programmes in India. The awards are a celebration of the very best of the rich ethos and culture of India and the deep respect our grandparents have inculcated in us for water and our rivers. What-er Thought! is a true acknowledgement of the design excellence, innovation and originality of Indian Design.

What-er Thought! Awards will be conferred upon the top ten winners at the WOW Water Save Summit. The entries for What-er Thought! Design Excellence Awards can be submitted on ideas that revolve around Communication Design, Product Design, Service Design, Spatial Design, and Design for Social Impact.

Judging is based on criteria of design excellence including impact on water users, innovation, quality of your message, acceptance in terms of views / shares the entry has secured, and other parameters

  1. How hard-hitting is the message on saving water and making a city liveable. 

  2. How popular is your entry in terms of Views and Shares you are able to secure on Online Outreach. 

  3. The Jury will consist of national and international water experts, teachers, leaders from industry and academia.
